Description
The Iowa Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is seeking professional design services to mitigate basement water infiltration at the Iowa Veterans Home, Loftus Building and Malloy Building. The selected vendor will provide design services, including evaluating the building envelope and making recommendations for mitigating water infiltration. The contract will be a modified ConsensusDocs 803, and the vendor will be required to have professional liability insurance in the amount of $2 million. The scope of work includes attending a design kick-off meeting, providing 50% and 100% evaluation/schematic design, and conducting site visits. The vendor will also be required to provide construction cost opinions and participate in project meetings.
