Indigent Burial or Cremation Services

The County of Placer is seeking a firm to provide mortuary and cemetery services for the cremation, inurnment, and interment of decedents, including veterans, indigents, and unclaimed dead. The contract is for a one-year period, with an estimated 48 indigent cremations and/or burials approved during that time. The contract includes various services such as adult/veteran cremation, infant/small child cremation, urns for ashes, scattering of ashes, storage of remains, adult/veteran burial, infant/small child burial, embalming, opening and closing of grave, and plot for burial.
