On-Call Paving

The contract is for on-call paving services, which includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, tax, equipment, and services to complete the installation of asphalt paving throughout Placer County. The contract was awarded to four vendors: b&m Builders, Simpson & Simpson, Central Valley Engineering & Asphalt, and Baldoni Construction. The services included in the contract are: • 2" AC over Base • 3" AC over Base • 4" AC over Base • 5" AC over Base • 6" AC over Base • 8" AC over Base • 10" AC over Base • 12" AC over Base • Chip seal over base • Adjusting manhole/vault covers • Fine Sand and Slurry Seal • Type II Slurry Seal • Crack Sealing • Microsurfacing • Clean Existing Chipseal and Re-chipseal The contract prices for each service are listed in the bid analysis section.
