Water Quality Monitoring

The contract is for water quality monitoring, reporting, and engineering services. The scope of work includes semiannual groundwater monitoring and reporting for two landfills, the Closed Old Kings Road Class I Landfill and the Closed Flagler County C&D Landfill. The contractor, HDR Engineering, Inc., will provide professional engineering and consulting services, including water quality technical reports and site assessment reports. The contract term is 5 years, from May 19, 2025, to February 28, 2030. • The contract includes provisions for payment, termination, and dispute resolution. • The contractor is required to maintain insurance and indemnify the county against claims and damages. • The contract includes a standard of performance and a description of the services to be provided. • The contractor is required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to environmental protection and public records. • The contract includes a provision for changes to the scope of work and adjustments to the contract price. • The contractor is required to provide monthly invoices and to make payments to the county within 30 days of receipt of the invoice.
