This solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to perform bulkhead repair work for Water Street Park in Wilmington, NC. The scope includes corrosion removal, steel hole repairs, removal and disposal of creosote‑treated piles and girders, recoating of sheet piles with coal‑tar epoxy, removal of camel‑type fender bumpers, back‑filling with rip‑rap and #57 stone, and extensive asphalt pavement patching. The work covers approximately 500 linear feet of waterfront retaining wall and associated structural components. Bids must be single‑prime, supported by a 5 % bid bond, and include a good‑faith effort to subcontract at least 14 % to minority‑owned businesses.
