Pleasant View Watermain Project

The Town of Prescott Valley is seeking bids for the construction of the Pleasant View Watermain Project. The project involves the installation of approximately 550 linear feet of 6-inch waterline along the east side of Pleasant View Drive. The bid submission deadline was October 8, 2018, and the bids were opened and read aloud shortly after. The contract documents, plans, and specifications can be obtained from the Prescott Valley website or by calling the Prescott Valley Utilities Department. • The project includes the removal and replacement of pavement, vertical curb, and existing drive lighting. • The water main will be installed per QCSD 200Q-1 (6" O DR 14 C-900 PVC). • The project also includes the installation of a fire hydrant, valve box, and cover per Quad City Std Details 301Q, 360Q, and 391Q. • The contractor will be required to re-establish existing drainage swale after watermain construction has been completed. • The contractor will also be required to replace existing decorative rocks, gravel, trees, vegetation, and irrigation lines disturbed during construction.
