Type III Fire Engines

The County of Riverside Purchasing and Fleet Services Division on behalf of the Riverside County Fire Department was soliciting quotations for Type III Fire Engines. The County intended to award a five-year contract to the most responsive responsible bidder whose bid is the lowest price. The contract was cancelled effective August 31, 2016. • The contract was for the purchase of up to six Type III Fire Engines over a five-year term. • The contract included specifications for the fire engines, including cab and chassis, pump, apparatus body, electrical, and equipment. • The contract also included requirements for delivery, bonding, and travel costs. • The County reserved the right to cancel the procurement process at any time.
