Description
The Chicago Park District has awarded a contract to G&O Thermal Supply Company for the supply and delivery of pool boilers and related materials. The contract has a term of one year with four optional one-year extensions. The contractor will provide pool boilers and related materials, including Energy Rite Boilers and Copper Finn 2 Boilers, as well as fittings, pipes, steam traps, and valves. The contractor must deliver the materials to the Garfield Trade Yard and provide a 24-hour notice prior to delivery. The contract includes provisions for inspections, backorders, and warranties. The contractor must also comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to labor, environmental protection, and business practices.
• The contract has a maximum value of $365,000 annually.
• The contractor must provide a minimum of 25% of the work with its own forces.
