The City of Goodyear has awarded a contract to Core and Main, LP for the purchase and installation of replacement water meters. The contract includes the purchase of approximately 10,500 water meters, ranging in size from 3/4" to 8", and the installation of these meters by outside contractors. The contract also includes a public outreach information campaign to inform affected city residents prior to any meters being replaced. The City of Goodyear expects to benefit from the reliability of the monthly meter reads and the number of "no reads" or inaccurate reads being mitigated.
