20-5361 Working Scholars Program

The City of Goodyear has entered into a contract with Study.com to provide the Working Scholars program to its employees. The program allows employees to pursue an accredited degree or certification while working full-time. The city will pay an annual fee of $50,000 to Study.com for each cohort of students. The contract is renewable annually, and the city has the option to terminate the contract with 30 days' notice. The program includes student coaching and support, creation and administration of the program, and promotion of the program to city employees.
