Wastewater Treatment Plant Roof Repair

The City of Cleburne is requesting quotes for the repair of the wastewater treatment plant roof. The existing roof is a tar and gravel type roof, and the quotes must include the removal of the existing roof, installation of new tar and gravel areas, re-decking with appropriate material, and other repairs. The quotes must be emailed to the Plant Supervisor, Matthew Davis, by June 10, 2020, at 5:00 PM. The bid includes the following scope of work: tear off and remove existing roof damage, install and replace damaged tar and gravel areas, re-deck with appropriate material as needed, install and replace damaged fascia board, install and replace damaged soffit boards, install new flashing as needed, install and replace any damaged rafters, install and replace any damaged sheetrock, seal all joints on fascia and soffit boards with appropriate material, paint all new exposed wood surfaces, clean up and dispose of materials and debris, include number of years for manufacturer's warranty, and include number of years for workmanship warranty. • The existing roof is a tar and gravel type roof on top of wooden 6" rafters and decking that is 14' x 24'6". • The quotes must include the removal of the existing roof and the installation of new tar and gravel areas. • The quotes must also include the re-decking with appropriate material as needed. • The quotes must include the installation and replacement of damaged fascia board, soffit boards, and flashing. • The quotes must include the sealing of all joints on fascia and soffit boards with appropriate material. • The quotes must include the painting of all new exposed wood surfaces. • The quotes must include the cleanup and disposal of materials and debris. • The quotes must include the number of years for the manufacturer's warranty and the number of years for the workmanship warranty. • The City of Cleburne requires that the company does not boycott Israel and will not boycott Israel during the term of the contract.
