Random Drug Testing Services

The County of Fresno is seeking a vendor to provide random drug testing services for families involved in the Department of Social Services Child Welfare Services branch and individuals involved in the Probation Department. The selected vendor will provide a vendor-managed random urine drug-testing program, standard five-panel tests, and other management reports. The contract is expected to serve approximately 322 unique participants per month. Key features of the contract include expedited turnaround of drug testing results, online and/or cloud-based reporting, and local collection sites in metro Fresno and rural areas of the county. • The contract requires the vendor to provide a comprehensive drug testing program, including random urine testing and ad hoc testing as needed. • The vendor must provide highly reliable results based on laboratory and/or on-site instrument-based testing. • The contract also requires the vendor to provide management reports and have an online and/or cloud-based reporting system. • The vendor must have local collection sites in metro Fresno and availability of testing in rural areas of the county.
