Special Magistrate

The City of Port St. Lucie has entered into an agreement with Keith W. Davis, Esq. of the Law Firm of Davis & Associates, P.A. to provide the services of a Special Magistrate. The Special Magistrate will perform duties as defined in the City's Code of Ordinances Section 37.01 and other applicable ordinances and City policies. The term of the agreement is from November 1, 2024, to October 31, 2025, and may be renewed on an annual basis. The City will compensate the Special Magistrate at a rate of $175.00 per hour. The key aspects of this contract include: • The Special Magistrate will provide non-exclusive services to the City. • The Special Magistrate will perform duties as scheduled by the City. • The City will compensate the Special Magistrate at a rate of $175.00 per hour. • The term of the agreement may be renewed on an annual basis. • The City reserves the right to recruit additional or replacement Special Magistrates as needed.
