The City of Tucson is seeking a contractor to modernize the bank of two elevators at City Hall. The modernization includes cab interior, car equipment, hall control stations, elevator machine room equipment, and other code-required items. The contract has a base bid of $882,406.00 and an alternate bid of $8,855.00. The contractor will be required to provide a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount. The contract also includes a liquidated damages clause of $1,860.00 per day.
