PSA: UVLSRPC (Household Hazardous Waste Collection)

The City of Lebanon has engaged the Upper Valley Lake Sunapee Regional Planning Commission (UVLSRPC) to provide professional and technical services for the 2024 Household Hazardous Waste Collections. The UVLSRPC will organize and administer the collection events, and the City of Lebanon will participate in all regional household hazardous waste collections. The total cost of the collections will be divided by the total number of households, and costs will be apportioned based on the number of households participating from each municipality. The key services provided by the UVLSRPC include: • Organizing and administering the collection events • Applying for grant funding to cover a portion of the cost of the collections • Hiring a permitted hazardous waste hauler to handle and transport the household hazardous waste collected • Providing emergency contact information and other considerations for the hosting municipality.
