Mixed Grass Hay, Alfalfa, and Straw

This contract is for the purchase of mixed grass hay, alfalfa, and straw for Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, Hinckley Ranger Stables, The Chalet, Site Construction, and various locations throughout Cleveland Metroparks. The contract is for a two-year period, with an option to renew for an additional two years. The contract was awarded to two vendors, Bill Maxwell Farms and Gill Farms, who will supply the goods on an as-needed basis. The total cost of the contract is not to exceed $300,000. • The contract includes the purchase of Timothy Hay AFGC 3 and 4, Alfalfa Hay AFGC Prime, and Straw. • The vendors will supply the goods in bulk, with Gill Farms mechanically unloading and stacking the product. • The contract has an option to renew for an additional two years based on supplier performance. • The total cost of the contract is not to exceed $300,000.
