LAW ENFORCEMENT PRE-EMPLOYMENT AND BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION SERVICES, INTERNAL AFFAIRS INVESTIGATIONS, AND CARRY CONCEALED WEAPON (CCW) PERMIT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS FOR PUBLIC APPLICANTS

The County of Riverside is seeking proposals from qualified parties to perform comprehensive pre-employment background and reference investigation services for the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. The contract includes services such as pre-employment background investigations, internal affairs investigations, and carry concealed weapon (CCW) permit background investigations for public applicants. The contract is expected to be a 5-year agreement, with the option to award multiple contracts for each service. The Riverside Sheriff's Department is the 2nd-largest Sheriff's Office in California, serving across more than 7,200 square miles and policing 17 of the 28 cities in Riverside County. • Pre-employment background investigations for law enforcement personnel • Internal affairs investigations for law enforcement personnel • Carry concealed weapons (CCW) permit background investigations for public applicants • The contract is expected to be a 5-year agreement • The County reserves the right to conduct interviews with some or all the contractors at any point during the evaluation process • The County is seeking qualified firms and independent contractors to participate in this proposal
