Mako SCBA Filling System

The City of Boise solicited bids for a Mako SCBA Filling System, which includes a compressor package, air storage system, containment fill station, and placement of the complete system. The contract was awarded to one of the three vendors that submitted bids, with a total bid amount of $89,790.00. The scope of work includes the delivery, inspection, and installation of the system, as well as conducting breathing air quality tests. • The system includes a four-stage air-cooled compressor, 25 horsepower electric motor, and UL listed electric panel. • The system also includes a PLC controller, instrumentation, and controls such as high air temperature switch and low oil pressure switch. • The vendor is required to provide a company history and references, and to accept the public agency clause. • The contract is subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the solicitation document.
