Description
This City of Mobile solicitation calls for a vendor to fully rebuild New‑Way side‑loader garbage‑truck arms to “as‑new” condition and reinstall them on the truck, including pickup and return of the vehicle. The scope covers replacement of pins, bushings, bearings, shafts, chains, rollers, rubber components, dust covers, hydraulic hoses, clamps, and all fasteners, followed by break‑in, lubrication, testing, and delivery of the repaired truck back to the City’s garage. Bids must be sealed, submitted by 11:00 a.m. on 6 Nov 2020, and include a 5 % bid bond. Payment is on a firm‑price basis, FOB Destination, payable within 20 days of receipt of goods and correct invoice. The contract may be extended for one year with a further two‑year option.
