Landfill Equipment Package

The County of Kauai, Department of Finance, Purchasing Division, has awarded a contract to Hawthorne Pacific Corp. for the furnishing and delivery of a Landfill Equipment Package. The contract amount is $1,270,156.56, and delivery shall be within 30 calendar days commencing on the date stated in the official Notice to Proceed. The contract requires the contractor to cooperate with a third-party financing company on a lease-purchase basis. • The contract includes the provision of one landfill compactor and one track-type tractor. • The contractor must comply with tax compliance requirements and submit a Contractor’s Certificate of Compliance for Final Payment. • The contract is conditioned upon the contractor's execution and return of the contract. • The County of Kauai reserves the right to cancel the award and any expenses incurred by the contractor will be at their own risk until the Notice to Proceed is issued.
