Physical Abilities Testing

The City of Independence, Missouri is seeking a vendor to provide Physical Abilities (Post Offer Pass-Fail) Testing services. The services include collecting job analysis information, defining job requirements, establishing testing criteria, and implementing and interpreting test results. The contract was awarded to ARC due to their better overall response to the RFP, especially in the areas of experience and reliability, method of performance, litigation support, and testing location. • The testing services will be used to determine the physical abilities of job applicants. • The vendor will be required to provide a tested methodology based on sound legal reasoning. • The vendor will be required to provide litigation support and cooperation. • The contract includes a standard contract with no objections from the respondents. • The evaluation report provides a detailed analysis of the respondents' proposals and the reasons for the award to ARC.
