Heavy Equipment Body Repairs and Painting Services

Placer County is soliciting competitive bids for as-needed heavy equipment body repairs and painting services throughout Placer County on behalf of the Department of Public Works Fleet Services Division. The bid shall be awarded by category or on an all-or-none basis, whichever is in the County's best interest, and the resulting blanket purchase order(s) shall be issued in the aggregate amount of $50,000.00. • The contract is for heavy equipment body repairs and painting services. • The contract is divided into two categories: Western Placer County and Eastern Placer County. • The vendors shall provide hourly labor rates for heavy equipment body work, paint work, mechanical work, and frame work. • The vendors shall also provide percent discounts off retail prices for OEM repair parts, aftermarket repair parts, used repair parts, and paint products and supplies. • A 5% Local Vendor Preference is granted to those firms who file an LVP Affidavit with Procurement prior to the close of the bid.
