Social Skills for Students and Behavioral Support Professional Development

This three‑year contract awards the Lakewood Board of Education a comprehensive professional‑development and consulting program to improve social‑emotional learning and behavioral support for Tier 2 and Tier 3 students at Lakewood Middle and High Schools. The vendor will deliver targeted staff trainings, ongoing consultation, SEL curriculum implementation, and family‑engagement support, all funded entirely by a federal IDEA grant. The district may extend the agreement with up to two one‑year renewals or one two‑year renewal, provided funding remains available. • Professional‑development workshops covering SEL, classroom management, and strategies for autism, ADHD, anxiety, etc. • Continuous consulting for teachers, administrators, CST members, and the I&RS team throughout the school year. • Implementation of social‑skills lessons during lunch, health class, and morning meetings, plus parent‑training components.
