S 5th Street Roadway Repairs

The City of Ridgefield is seeking professional services for the S 5th Street Roadway Repairs project. The project includes designing and constructing improvements along S 5th Street, including roadway repairs and resurfacing. The contract was awarded to PBS Engineering and Environmental, Inc. The contract term is from May 17, 2023, to December 31, 2023. The scope of work includes pre-construction design services, construction engineering, and inspection. • The project will design and construct improvements along S 5th Street between S Union Ridge Parkway and NE 10th Avenue. • The improvements will include roadway repairs and resurfacing on approximately 0.75 miles of roadway. • The work will consist of evaluation of the asphalt surface as well as the subgrade to determine where full depth repairs are needed. • Roadway design shall meet current roadway standards and specifications. • There is also a known failed waterline trench that will need evaluation. • Scope of work may include HMA (hot mix asphalt) design, asphalt grinding, FDR (Full Depth Repair) areas and striping.
