SVC-GENSWITCH (Generator Transfer Switch)

The City of Punta Gorda is seeking a vendor to provide and install a generator transfer switch. The scope of work includes all labor, equipment, engineering, materials, wiring, trenching or directional boring, installation, permitting, and all FPL charges for a turnkey project. The contract has a substantial completion date of 90 days and a final completion date of 100 days after the start date. The payment terms include acceptance of P-card and a business tax receipt. The vendor must also provide a non-collusion affidavit and be in business for at least 3 years. • The contract includes an optional pricing component for installing the new manual transfer switch at the location of the existing meter bank instead of the transformer location. • The vendor must submit a bidder response form and meet all minimum qualification requirements. • The city reserves the right to accept or reject all optional pricing. • The contract has a total value of $61,120.00 for the base bid and $44,370.00 for the optional pricing with the location of the transfer switch at the existing meter bank.
