The University of Georgia is soliciting qualified bids for courier services of laboratory tests and samples for the University of Georgia Vet Diagnostics Lab. The contract requires the vendor to provide a online client portal for vet clinics to request pickups and provide a confirmation number for each scheduled pick-up. The vendor must also have dedicated account managers and be able to begin work immediately upon receipt of a purchase order. The contract term is from the date of award until the end of the State’s current fiscal year, with four one-year options to renew. The contract has an estimated value of $95,160. • The contract requires the vendor to provide temperature-controlled transportation for biological specimens. • The vendor must have a live telephone operator available 8 AM – 5 PM Monday through Friday. • The vendor must be able to provide real-time tracking and communication for the transportation of specimens. • The vendor must have a secure and contamination-free transportation system. • The vendor must be able to provide documentation and chain of custody records for the transportation of specimens.
