Description
The City of Edgewater, FL is procuring professional design and permitting services for a new municipal Public Works Facility that will house multiple divisions (administration, fleet, stormwater, waste, etc.) and meet resiliency standards for wind, flooding and future growth. The scope includes a needs‑analysis of the existing facility, space‑programing, conceptual through 90 % design, production of construction‑ready plans and specifications, acquisition of required permits, and assistance with grant‑funding opportunities. The contract is a one‑year, negotiation‑based agreement with a requirement that at least 30 % of the work be performed by the prime firm’s in‑house staff. Evaluation will be based on team qualifications, relevant experience, sustainability expertise, and schedule.
