Interlocal Agreement Fairview Pkwy

This contract is an interlocal agreement between Collin County and the Town of Fairview for the construction of Fairview Parkway from Medical Drive to Ridgeview Drive. The project includes designing, constructing, and administering the improvements, with the Town of Fairview responsible for acquiring real property and constructing the project. The County will participate in the project by allocating $7,980,000 to the performance of the project. The agreement outlines the terms and conditions of the project, including payment schedules, indemnification, and termination. • The project includes the construction of a four-lane bridge over Sloan Creek and the beginning of an ultimate four-lane divided arterial from the Ridgeview Overpass to Medical Center Drive in McKinney. • The Town of Fairview will arrange to design the project and prepare plans and specifications for the improvements. • The County will provide $7,980,000 to the project, with payment schedules outlined in the agreement. • The agreement includes provisions for indemnification, termination, and force majeure. • The project is expected to be completed within 2 years, with the option to renew annually.
