Playground Surfacing

The contract is for playground surfacing at Baker Center, with the scope of work including installing Rainbow Turf Rubber Walk Poured in Place and removing existing mulch/wood chips. The contract was awarded to three vendors: Playmore West, Inc., Pep’s Environmental Flooring, and Miller Recreation Equipment & Design, Inc. The Evaluation Committee ranked these vendors based on the award criteria set forth in the Request for Proposal (RFP). • The contract requires the vendors to provide all labor, materials, and services necessary to complete the work. • The vendors must remove and dispose of existing mulch/wood chips for three playground areas. • A mandatory pre-bid meeting and on-site walk-through were held to discuss the project and site-specific needs. • The contract has a set of terms and conditions that must be accepted by the vendors. • The contract includes a notice of award decision and a final award tabulation.
