Filling, Maintenance and Repair of SCBA and Air Bottles

The County of Orange, Sheriff-Coroner Department is seeking bids for the filling, maintenance, and repair of SCBA and air bottles. The contractor will be required to provide services for the filling of scuba diving air tanks, SCOTT firefighting air tanks, and oxygen medical bottles for resuscitator kits. The contractor must also provide hydrostatic testing, repair of cylinders and accessories, and annual preventative maintenance of oxygen regulators. The contract will be for a period of 365 days, and the contractor must operate their business and service facility within a 20-mile radius from the City of Santa Ana, California. • The contractor must have certification to perform hydrostatic testing and for the filling of air bottles and air tanks. • The contractor must maintain regular business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Pacific Time). • The contractor must provide maintenance services including cleaning, inspecting, replacing all worn parts, lubricating, testing and adjusting of equipment provided as required to maintain the equipment in satisfactory operating condition. • The contractor must provide warranty terms and periods of all applicable items. • The contractor must provide emergency services during normal business hours at no extra cost to the County.
