B-2 Low Observable Signature & Supportability Modifications (LOSSM)

The United States Air Force is seeking sources for the Low Observable Signature & Supportability Modifications (LOSSM) effort, which aims to improve and replace the current system used for periodic inspections to identify Radar Cross Section (RCS) signature defects on the B-2 aircraft. The new system should contain an integrated VNA, eliminating the existing stand-alone VNA and RF cable, and should be easier to use and more accurate. The system must meet specific requirements, including being Class I, Division 2 of the National Electric Code (NEC), Article 500.5(B), and executing Radio Frequency point inspections. The contractor will perform training systems tasks and meet training support objectives, including analysis, evaluation of system designs, development, production, installation, integration, test, database generation, and sustainment. • The system must be able to be transported, calibrated, and operated by a single user. • The system must meet the requirements of Class I, Division 2 of the National Electric Code (NEC), Article 500.5(B). • The system must execute Radio Frequency point inspections. • The contractor must provide documentation supporting their company's capability in meeting the requirements. • The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be awarded a DoD contract.
