Description
The State of Alabama is seeking a qualified lift inspector to perform annual inspections of four lifts at the Hamilton District Shop. The lifts include two 2-post lifts (Rotary Model: SP015 and SPOA10N5GO) and two 4-post lifts (Rotary Model: SM301-300 and Stertil Koni Model: 42554037). The inspection should include a structural inspection of posts, runways, crossbeams, welds, platforms, railings, and overhead structures for cracks, corrosion, or other defects. The inspector should also check the hardware and anchorage, controls and safety devices, hydraulics and pneumatics, and moving parts. The inspector must be qualified, preferably ALI certified, and should include travel time and mileage in the quote if applicable. Key points to consider:
