One-Two SentencesUNC Pembroke seeks a professional services firm to provideConstruction Materials testing and special inspections forthe replacement of a section of subsurface natural gaspiping. The Campus Gas Line Replacement project entailsreplacing a section of the existing steel gas piping systemlocated between North Hall and Locklear Hall. The currentline is believed to be deteriorating, and it will beupgraded to a corrosion-resistant High-Density Polyethylene(HDPE) pipe. The new pipeline will generally follow theexisting alignment and will be designed to meet or exceedthe current system's capacity.The University intends to select a qualified SpecialInspections firm through a qualifications-based reviewprocess consistent with applicable SCO/SBC procedures.
