The City of Warner Robins is seeking a qualified contractor to design, furnish, install, test, and commission an emergency power generator system and automatic transfer switch (ATS) for the Haven Hope House, a shelter for those experiencing homelessness. The selected contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supplies necessary to complete the project. The scope of work includes the installation of a diesel or natural gas generator, sound-attenuated enclosure, weatherproof outdoor-rated enclosure, UL-listed equipment, EPA-compliant engine, and a service-rated ATS. The contractor must also provide a fuel system, concrete pad, electrical conduit and wiring, integration with the existing main distribution panel, and coordination with the utility provider.
Key points to consider:
• The Haven Hope House is approximately 7,000 square feet, and there is no existing generator at the facility.
• The contractor must provide a technical proposal, project plan, warranty and service information, and required documents.
• The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive informalities and technicalities, and to accept or reject any item or combination of items.
• The project, if awarded, will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose proposal will be most advantageous to the City of Warner Robins, considering price, availability, value, and other factors.
