Lansingburgh Main Street Grant Project

The City of Troy is soliciting sealed qualifications from qualified contractors to establish a list for contracting services related to a New York Main Street program taking place in the North Troy neighborhood of Lansingburgh. The contracting services will be to renovate the commercial and/or residential spaces within the building as well as undertake repairs of the historic facades and exteriors. • The NYMS program provides resources to assist New York communities with Main Street and downtown revitalization efforts. • The program aims to stimulate reinvestment in mixed-use buildings or neighborhoods. • The selected contractor will be required to design, plan, and undertake the repairs within the allotted time frame. • A detailed scope of work will be developed ahead of time with the awardees and then reviewed again with the selected contractor. • All work must be completed by November 2026 to meet the grant requirements. • The City reserves the right to reject any bid/proposal from any bidder/proposer if their General Liability and/or Auto Liability Insurance has a Deductible or Self-Insured retention greater than $10,000.00.
