Description
The U.S. Embassy in Guatemala City seeks a firm‑fixed‑price contractor to provide comprehensive preventive‑maintenance services for its potable water treatment plant, including tank cleaning, pump and equipment inspections, water‑quality testing, chemical management, inventory control, and related documentation. The work spans a one‑year base period with up to four one‑year options and a six‑month extension, requiring weekly site visits, adherence to multiple industry standards, and strict security and safety compliance.
• Quarterly and monthly preventive inspections of pumps, VFDs, filters, storage tanks (raw‑water 2×750 m³, potable 2×50 m³).
• Laboratory and on‑site water‑quality analyses (physicochemical & microbiological) with 24‑hour response to test results.
• Management of chemical inventory, dosing recommendations, and provision of certified testing reports.
• Documentation, bilingual training for embassy staff, and strict adherence to NSF, AWWA, OSHA, NFPA, UL, IEEE, and related standards.
• Optional separate quotes for spare parts, filter cartridges, and emergency repairs.
