Description
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is seeking bids for a Spray Tank Trailer, Max 3,135 Gal System, for the Waco District office. The trailer must meet specific design criteria and performance requirements, including a minimum capacity of 3,000 gallons and a maximum capacity of 3,135 gallons, and must be made of poly material. The trailer will be used for spraying brine mixtures and must evenly apply the mixture to roadways.
• The trailer must have a Liquid Gravity Capacity with a minimum of 1.5 and a maximum of 1.9.
• The trailer must have an overall length no longer than 164.5 inches while in operation.
• The trailer must have a temperature tolerance of 120 degrees to a maximum of 130 degrees.
• The trailer must have a Tank Baffling System and include a sight gauge.
• The trailer must have saddle straps over the tank.
The contract will be awarded to the bidder who submits the lowest priced bid that meets all the requirements specified in the solicitation.
