Description
The Clio Area Schools Board of Education is seeking bids for the installation of emergency standby power for their freezers and coolers at multiple schools. The scope of work includes the installation of new electrical emergency standby systems, generators, automatic transfer switches, panelboards, and natural gas piping. The successful bidder will be responsible for completing the work by June 30, 2026.
• The project requires the installation of emergency standby power systems at three schools: Clio High School, Clio Middle School/Intermediate School, and Clio Elementary School.
• The bidder must provide a proposed time frame for work to be completed and provide three references for similar work done in the past.
• The bidder must also provide a certificate of insurance, including liability and worker's compensation, and must comply with all local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
• The Clio Area Schools Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or part if it is in the best interest of the schools.
