Rail Testing Services

Valley Metro Rail, Inc. is seeking bids for rail testing services to ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards. The scope of work includes non-destructive testing (NDT) for girder rail and T-rail, evaluation of track geometry, track strength, and rail wear. The contractor will be required to provide all necessary equipment, personnel, and services to perform the testing. The contract will be for a period of five years, with an option for renewal. • The contractor must have experience in rail NDT and geometry testing. • The contractor must have a Federal Railroad Administration Track Safety Certification. • The contractor must provide detailed descriptions of proposed testing methodologies and equipment. • The contractor must have liability insurance with a minimum limit of $1,000,000. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including environmental laws.
