Description
The Holyoke Gas & Electric department is seeking bids for the Hydraulic Structures' Maintenance & Repairs Annual Contract. The scope of work includes the construction, installation, reconstruction, and maintenance of dam apron, canal system, penstocks, tailraces, fishlift system, outdoor walkways, hydro gates, rubber dam bladder, and associated hydroelectric appurtenances. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Payment and Performance Bonds.
• The contract is for an annual period.
• The bidder must submit a bid deposit equal to $15,000 or $17,500, depending on the item.
• The successful bidder shall furnish both a Payment Bond and Performance Bond of $300,000 or $350,000.
• Prevailing Wage Rates apply to all work performed under this contract.
