Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide airflow testing and balancing services at the West Haven and Newington campuses of the VA Connecticut Healthcare System. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. The scope of work includes quarterly and annual testing and air balancing of various rooms and areas, as well as semi-annual HEPA filter testing. The contractor must have experience and capabilities to provide the requested services in a timely and efficient manner. The contract will be for a base period of one year, with four option years.
Key aspects of the job include:
* Providing airflow testing and balancing services for various rooms and areas
* Performing semi-annual HEPA filter testing
* Ensuring all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner
* Coordinating with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to schedule work and provide reports
* Submitting detailed written reports and certificates of calibration for all instruments used
* Maintaining certification and training for all personnel performing work under the contract
