Auto Body Repair Services

The City of Fontana is seeking a vendor to provide auto body repair services for its fleet of vehicles. The selected vendor will be required to provide a full range of services, including frame straightening, sheet metal work, installation of graphics and logos, and paint work. The vendor must have experience working with public agency fleets and be able to complete repair work on vehicles ranging from light duty passenger vehicles to commercial vehicles exceeding 26,000 GVW. The vendor's place of business must be within 15 miles of the City of Fontana's Corporate Yard. • The contract period will be for two years, with the option for three additional one-year increments. • The vendor must have all required licenses and permits, including those required by regulatory agencies. • The vendor must have the required insurances, including worker's compensation, general liability, and automobile liability. • The vendor must comply with all City, County, and State standards, including those related to labor laws and environmental regulations. • The vendor must provide a total cost proposal with a line-item breakdown. • The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality or irregularity in any proposal.
