Description
The Alaska Energy Authority is seeking qualified contractors to fully renovate the Tuluksak Power Plant in remote Tuluksak, Alaska. The scope includes building renovation, installation of owner‑furnished generators, switchgear upgrades, mechanical and electrical system replacements, and related site improvements. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, transportation, quality‑control, and supplies, and comply with all licensing, bonding, insurance, and DBE requirements. The contract is valued between $1.5 M and $2.5 M, with a 5 % bid security, and is exempt from Buy‑America requirements.
• Complete structural and interior upgrades of the existing plant building.
• Install new generators, upgrade switchgear, and replace mechanical/electrical systems per detailed drawings.
• Provide all necessary permits, licenses, performance/payment bonds, and insurance; ensure DBE participation and EEO compliance.
