Description
The Albany Parking Authority is seeking proposals from engineering firms to provide professional structural engineering services for the evaluation of publicly owned parking garages in the City of Albany. The selected firm will be responsible for evaluating the structural stability of the garages, outlining maintenance and repair recommendations, and providing engineering services for the remediation and repair work. The contract term is for three years, and the Authority reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time with or without cause.
Key aspects of the proposal include:
• A statement of qualifications, including a brief history and description of the firm, a list of subcontractors, and identification of the firm's professional staff members who will be assigned to the project
• A cost proposal, including a guarantee that no additional fees will be charged without prior written consent
• A description of the firm's experience in engineering services and specific experience as a NYS Licensed Structural Engineer
• Proof of licenses and certifications required by Federal, State, and Local Laws
• At least three references, including addresses and telephone numbers
• A signed cover letter from a person authorized to make representations on behalf of the firm
