Description
The Long Beach Transit is seeking a contractor to provide Operator Safety Barriers for their buses. The contractor will be responsible for designing, manufacturing, and installing the barriers. The barriers must meet specific requirements, including being compliant with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements and having a means of emergency latch release. The contractor will also be required to provide training and warranty services. The project is expected to last for approximately 1 year.
• The contractor must have a minimum of 10 years' experience and a demonstrated track record of quality work.
• The contractor must be licensed to do business in the State of California.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• The contractor must provide a detailed proposal, including a technical proposal, cost and price proposal, and any other required documents.
