Mowing and Landscaping Services

The Town of Herndon is seeking a qualified contractor to provide mowing and landscaping services for various locations within the town. The services include mowing, trimming, tree planting, tree removal, leaf removal, and other landscaping services as needed. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and services necessary to sustain and maintain the landscaping in a healthy, attractive, and safe condition. The contract will be for a period of one year with four optional one-year renewals. • The contractor will be responsible for mowing and maintaining turf, trees, and other landscaping at various locations, including parks, medians, and sidewalks. • The contractor will be required to provide mulching services, including the purchase, storage, pickup, delivery, and placement of mulch. • The contractor will be responsible for tree maintenance, including pruning and trimming. • The contractor will be required to provide sodding services, including the preparation of surfaces, laying of sod, and maintenance of newly laid sod. • The contractor will be responsible for removing debris and disposing of trash and clippings in a licensed landfill or as required by law.
