CENTRAL CITY RESIDENTIAL TRASH SERVICES

The City of Central is seeking bids from responsible and qualified firms to provide weekly curbside trash removal services to approximately 292 residential units on a year-round basis, with a contingency for additions or subtractions. The contractor will also provide weekly collection of up to 128 gallons of household trash generated by 22 residential units owned by the Central City Opera from May 1st to September 1st of each calendar year. The services include collection, transportation, weighing, and disposal of trash in accordance with Colorado statutes. The contractor must have a superintendent with at least three years of experience on similar projects and must have the necessary equipment and personnel to provide the required services. The contract will be awarded based on factors such as proposer qualifications, price, products, and service capabilities. • The contractor must provide all necessary labor, equipment, and supplies to complete the collection and disposal of materials. • The contractor must have a designated supervisor to interact with the City's Public Works Director and address problems as they arise. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and codes, and must secure all necessary licenses and permits. • The contractor must provide a completed and signed certification as required by the RFP. • The contractor must submit a proposal that includes a summary of the project understanding, approach, proposed scope, proposed schedule, budget, and a completed and signed certification.
