The City of Auburn, NY has acquired various residential properties, including vacant houses and lots through tax foreclosure and other means. The City desires to sell these properties outside of the regular auction process, and in compliance with the City’s land sale policy. This policy governs the sale and/or disposition of all City-owned lands and real property so thatthe City of Auburn may dispose of any and all properties deemed to be of no interest to the City orfor which no future plans are anticipated or projected. Specific properties will be identified throughout thecontract period; Provide professional listing photos; Price the properties – Prepare a comparative market analysis to review comparable propertiesnearby that are currently on the market, pending, or have recently sold; Market the properties – Outline the approach around marketing, including signage, flyers,lockbox, multiple listing service, real estate search sites, etc; Closing the Deal – Review purchase offers and assist the City in negotiating the best deal.
