Description
The City of Wilmington is seeking a qualified firm to serve as the sole on‑call provider for tree‑related services, including removal, stump grinding, pruning, and emergency response. The contract is a three‑year master agreement with the possibility of two one‑year extensions. Work will be issued via task orders; the contractor must price each order, begin work within stipulated response times, and invoice upon satisfactory completion. The scope demands compliance with industry standards (ANSI A300, ANSI Z133), safety protocols, and utility protection requirements, as well as possession of appropriate equipment and licensing.
• Provides emergency tree removal (start within 24 hrs) and routine services (start within 30 days, complete within 60 days).
• Requires capability to handle ~25 tree removals annually plus variable stump‑grinding and pruning tasks.
• Contractor must hold a North Carolina business license, appropriate arborist certifications, and maintain $1 M+ insurance coverage.
