Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide cardboard, co-mingled paper, and solid waste removal services for the New Jersey Healthcare System, East Orange and Lyons Campus. The contractor will be responsible for collecting and disposing of waste in accordance with federal and state regulations. The contract will be subject to the Service Contract Act, which requires contractors to pay employees at least $13.30 per hour and provide certain benefits, including health and welfare, vacation, and holidays. The contractor must also comply with Executive Order 13706, which requires paid sick leave for federal contractors.
• The contractor must have experience in waste removal and disposal.
